- Partner with the VP of Concept & Design to translate seasonal concepts, narratives, and category priorities into compelling accessories collections.

- Research consumer behavior, cultural and market trends, materials, hardware, and construction innovations to identify whitespace and strengthen the category’s aesthetic and functional direction.

- Create clear, premium design packages, including technical sketches, construction details, BOMs, and specification documentation, and maintain accurate styles in Centric PLM.

- Work with VP of Design and Raw Materials team to develop fabrics, trims, hardware, and components that deliver quality, durability, function, and elevated design while supporting cost and calendar goals.

- Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Raw Materials, Product Development, Tech Design, Sourcing, and Brand to drive concept-to-creation consistency and cohesive storytelling.

- Lead product reviews and fittings for assigned categories, providing thoughtful, solution-oriented feedback on proportion, function, construction, comfort, and quality.

- Manage design calendars, milestones, handoffs, and multiple workstreams to keep projects on track and aligned with seasonal roadmaps.

- Engage with healthcare professionals and translate insights into actionable design improvements that make products more intuitive and relevant.

- Present seasonal concepts, product stories, and design recommendations with clarity and confidence to leadership and cross-functional partners.

- Mentor an Associate Designer & contribute to a creative, curious, collaborative team culture.

Requirements:

- 8-10+ years of experience in accessories design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both creative range and technical depth.

- Proven expertise in multiple accessories categories, such as bags, headwear, socks, cold-weather knits, small goods, or lifestyle accessories, with the ability to design across a varied portfolio.

- Ability to create style-forward, modern products that balance function, durability, comfort, and commercial relevance.

- Strong command of proportion, construction, materials, trims, hardware, and manufacturing techniques relevant to accessories.

- Exceptional talent for concept development, color, material, and detail innovation, supported by a sharp, modern aesthetic.

- Demonstrated ability to drive full-cycle design from initial concept and prototyping through final production.

- Confident visual communicator with excellent sketching, illustration, technical drawing, and presentation skills.

- Experience creating BOMs and technical packages, managing styles in PLM, and working within cross-functional product creation workflows.

- Passion for customer-centric design and a deep respect for the healthcare professional community.

- Highly organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite; experience with 3D and AI-assisted design platforms is a plus.

Other Must-Haves:

- Strong creative leadership presence paired with a collaborative, team-first, and optimistic mindset.

- Entrepreneurial spirit, egoless nature, and 100% awesome attitude.
