About this role

About the Role

Club Athletic is a community-first fitness brand built on Squad Training: people who train together, twice a week, at a set time, with a dedicated coach.

We're looking for a seasoned closer. You're relentless in pursuit, warm in conversation, and skilled at turning objections into signatures. You don't wait for deals to happen. You make them happen.

As a Membership Advisor, you own the funnel from consultation to signed Training Squad member. Our SDRs generally handle first outreach, and you'll step in on initial touchpoints when needed to keep leads moving. This is a high-volume sales role. You'll spend most of your day on calls: reaching new and inactive leads, running consultations, and closing. And you don't just close members, you close members who stick.

Key Metrics for Success

Targets are set and reviewed with the Sales Manager. Commission is paid only on memberships closed, but every metric below measures success in the role.

- Memberships Closed: New Training Squad memberships you personally close each month.
- Close Rate: The share of attended consultations that convert to a membership.
- Call Activity: Daily outbound call volume and conversations held, measured against targets set with the Sales Manager.
- Member Quality: New members who stay a minimum of 3 months.

Secondary

- Show Rate: The share of booked consultations that actually attend.
- Sales Velocity: Leads closed within 7 days post call.
- Pipeline Hygiene: An accurate, current CRM, with a clear next step for every lead.
- Member Experience: A professional, on-brand, helpful experience on every call.

What You’ll Do

Own the full funnel

- Make a high volume of outbound and inbound calls each day, supported by text and email, to reach every lead while intent is warm and to meet the speed-to-lead SLA.
- Confirm and remind every booked consultation to reduce no-shows.
- Work leads that didn’t close and past prospects to reopen conversations.
- Run and close consultations
- Understand each prospect’s goals, match them to the right squad and time based on Squad Personality in the Squad Health Dashboard, and close them into a membership.
- Handle objections with confidence and care.
- Follow up with prospects who haven’t committed until closed or declined.
- Diagnose and improve the funnel
- Report weekly on calls made, consultations booked, attended, and closed, and flag what’s working and what isn’t.
- When numbers dip, work with Sales Leadership to find the cause, whether that’s lead quality, show rate, messaging, or objections, and test fixes.
- Own the handoff
- Hand off new members cleanly to Studio Management.
- Keep every lead and follow-up in the CRM.

Requirements

Who You Are

- A true closer: Warm, confident, and persuasive. You ask for the sale and people trust you quickly.
- Thrives on volume: Energized by a full call schedule, and you keep quality high on the 50th call of the day, not just the first.
- Self-starter and resilient: You’re driven by targets, unfazed by a no, and you don’t need to be chased.
- Consultative: You sell by listening. You match people to what they actually need, which keeps members around.
- Organized: You track every lead and follow-up without dropping the ball.
- Coachable and community-first: You’re open to feedback and genuinely care about the member and the community.
