About this role
Supervises ongoing critical environment maintenance and repair for all service lines with major impact on achieving pre-defined service level agreements (SLAs). Oversees medium-level impact projects and coordinates with relevant stakeholders. Manages incidents that impact Data Center infrastructure services and drives proactive and timely resolution of such incidents. Ensures alignment of own work with safe working practices. Oversees on-site data centers operations in relation to the engineering infrastructure, identifying risks and gaps and troubleshooting as required. Follows and adapts policies and procedures. Participates in training programs for newer members of the team.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
5 years of experience in operating data center critical infrastructure, critical facility operations, or related field
OR
High School Diploma, or equivalent AND 4 years of experience in operating data center critical infrastructure, critical facility operations, or related field
OR
Completion of a trade school AND 4 years of experience in operating data center critical infrastructure, critical facility operations, or related field
OR
Completion of an apprenticeship AND 3 years of experience in operating data center critical infrastructure, critical facility operations, or related field.

6 years of experience in operating data center critical infrastructure, critical facility operations, or related field

High School Diploma, or equivalent AND 5 years of experience in operating data center critical infrastructure, critical facility operations, or related field

Completion of a trade school AND 5 years of experience in operating data center critical infrastructure, critical facility operations, or related field
OR
Completion of an apprenticeship AND 4 years of experience in operating data center critical infrastructure, critical facility operations, or related field.
Budget Experience:
2 years of experience working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
Co-location vendor management:
3 year of experience working with operation and maintenance of building systems, uninterruptible power supply generators, cooling, building automation, and fire and life safety systems.
Certification:
Journeyman/master electrician certification, refrigeration license, or relevant building or construction certification.
