Pridestaff is currently seeking a Production Worker/Sewing Machine Operator for an industrial textile manufacturing company located in Chino, CA. This a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.
Pay Rate: $19-$20 Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am to 2:30pmm over time is required during busy season r high work flow
Job Duties : We are currently seeking motivated and reliable production workers to join our team! Our client specializes in manufacturing and installing sports facility products, including netting, padding, and windscreens. This position is responsible for the fabrication and sewing of custom sports-facility products in a manufacturing environment. The role involves measuring, cutting, and sewing materials, as well as maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Production fabrication of our custom products by measuring, cutting & assembling materials. Operation of industrial sewing machines (powering on/off, using foot pedals, threading, etc.). Most sewing consists of straight lines. Verify measurements, material colors, and product specifications Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Work collaboratively as part of a production team
Position Requirements: Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience Physically fit to handle fabrication type work (lifting, pulling up to 45 lbs., standing, bending, & repetitive motions.). Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that can be affected by outdoor weather conditions & temperatures. Basic understanding and knowledge of measurements and math. Attention to details such as verifying measurements, color matches, straight cuts, etc.). Ability to follow instructions and work well with others. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
