About this role

Description

Department Overview:
At Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), delivery volumes continue to grow year over year as we strive to reliably deliver products to our customers. The "last mile" delivery segment—from the final shipping hub to the customer's doorstep—demands industry-wide transformation, requiring the rapid development of innovative delivery services and network infrastructure.

Team Overview (Tech Team):
The Tech Team is responsible for maintaining and operating the system infrastructure that supports collaboration with major delivery partners, as well as driving automation of business processes. We contribute to the efficiency and quality improvement of our rapidly expanding delivery business through configuration management of transportation management systems (aka, ATROPS in Amazon), promotion of transportation-related system and product development, and automation of data input workflows. Driving product development in coordination with overseas development teams is also a key part of our mission.

This position is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of transportation management systems, while also collaborating with overseas development teams (primarily the India team) to drive operational process optimization and product development related to new services and the growth of existing businesses. In system development, the role requires close engagement with business teams and external stakeholders to identify challenges and gather requirements, as well as working closely with offshore development teams to drive the smooth development of transportation-related systems and products.
