Intern - Security Engineering Operations

Security Operations (STO) Support

- Assist in daily monitoring and administration of security platforms (WAF, DLP, API Security, DDoS protection, email security, etc.).
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities for applications, websites, and users onto security platforms.
- Perform security configuration reviews and hygiene validation activities.
- Assist with security operational reporting, dashboard updates, and KPI tracking.
- Participate in investigation of operational incidents, service requests, and user queries.
- Help maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Application Security (AppSec) Support

- Assist in vulnerability management activities including SAST, SCA, API Security, Container Security and DAST findings tracking.
- Support triage preparation by consolidating scan results, evidence, and remediation status.
- Assist in preparing AppSec dashboards, metrics, and management reporting.
- Support application and API onboarding activities.
- Participate in security research on emerging vulnerabilities, CVEs, and threat advisories.
- Help maintain AppSec knowledge bases, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Security Engineering & Automation

- Maintain and hygiene simple automation scripts.
- Support data extraction, cleansing, and reporting from security tools.
- Assist in creating Power BI reports and operational dashboards.
- Participate in process improvement and workflow automation initiatives.

Governance & Awareness

- Support documentation reviews and process compliance activities.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and communication materials.
- Participate in security awareness and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support audit evidence collection and tracking activities when required.
