Cost and Value Engineer

Frontmatec is looking for a Cost & Value Engineer to play a key role in strengthening our cost and pricing capabilities across Meat Solutions Europe.

This position is critical to ensuring accurate cost calculations, competitive pricing, and profitable project execution. You will work closely with Product, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Project Management, helping the business understand cost drivers and improve commercial decision-making.

What you'll do

- Develop and maintain cost calculation models for projects, equipment and solutions, by analyzing material, labor and manufacturing costs

- Drive transparency around cost structures and profitability.

- Support quotation and sales activities with accurate cost data.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost modelling processes and tools.

- Develop customer value analyses to support pricing decisions and demonstrate the commercial value of our solutions

- Identify, frame and drive value creation initiatives across projects and the existing product portfolio through quantitative analysis and cost modelling

- Facilitate cross-functional value engineering reviews with technical and commercial, translating improvement opportunities into actionable recommendations

What we're looking for

- 3+ years of experience within cost structure, engineering, manufacturing, project business, finance, or a similar field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.

- Fluent in Danish and English.

This role offers a hybrid working environment. While many of your closest colleagues and stakeholders are based in Southern Denmark, you will collaborate with teams across our European organization.
