You will develop deployment automation and infrastructure tooling, collaborate directly with service engineers, and support your solutions in production.</div><div class="scriptor-paragraph"> </div><div class="scriptor-paragraph">In this role, you will:</div><style>ol{margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;}ul {margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;}li {margin-top:.0in;margin-bottom:8pt;}ol.scriptor-listCounterResetlist!list-Solo0 {counter-reset: section;}ol.scriptor-listCounterlist!list-Solo0 {list-style-type:bullet;}li.listItemlist!list-Solo0::before {counter-increment: section;content: none; display: inline-block;}</style><ul class=""><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo0">Build and maintain deployment automation, Azure infrastructure tooling, and pipeline checks that make service deployments repeatable, reliable, and easier to operate.</li><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo0">Own engineering features through design, implementation, automated testing, rollout, and production support.</li><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo0">Partner with Defender service teams to understand deployment dependencies, improve existing workflows, and integrate automation with clear ownership boundaries.</li><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo0">Write maintainable and secure code and participate in design and code reviews, including validation, error handling, and safe rollback or recovery.</li><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo0">Use logs, telemetry, and incident findings to diagnose deployment failures and improve reliability, observability, and release quality.</li><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo0">Contribute to engineering efficiency across Defender by reducing repetitive deployment and operational work and developing reusable solutions for shared service needs.</li></ul><p> </p><br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br><p></p><style>ol{margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;}ul {margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;}li {margin-top:.0in;margin-bottom:8pt;}ol.scriptor-listCounterResetlist!list-Solo1 {counter-reset: section;}ol.scriptor-listCounterlist!list-Solo1 {list-style-type:bullet;}li.listItemlist!list-Solo1::before {counter-increment: section;content: none; display: inline-block;}</style><ul class=""><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo1">Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.</li><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo1">Experience implementing, testing, and debugging defined software features using maintainable code and sound engineering practices.</li><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo1">Experience collaborating with engineering partners through design, integration, release, and production support.</li><li class="scriptor-listItemlist!list-Solo1">Experience owning component or subsystem design and delivery, including managing technical dependencies and integration with other teams.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications – Other Requirements</h2><div class="scriptor-paragraph">Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role.
