## Was Du bei uns machst
As Data Engineer (m/f/x)  your primary responsibility will be to drive the development of our analytics infrastructure and projects. As an ideal candidate you should have extensive hands-on experience in building analytics solutions, predictive models and processes that will support our business. Your decisions should be based on a clear vision of what Data Science can and will bring into Travelcircus and be translated into solutions on how to execute that vision with all internal stakeholders. The position is full time and based in our great office in Berlin.
## Deine Verantwortung bei Travelcircus
In the role of Data Engineer at Travelcircus, you will be responsible for the following topics:

- Data Product Management : Manage and optimize data products to satisfy stakeholder needs and adapt to changes in underlying data sources.
- Data Request Fulfillment : Fulfill internal and external data requests, providing timely and accurate insights to drive decision-making.
- Self-Service Tools Management : Oversee the management of self-service dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring stakeholders can access and analyze data independently.
- ETL Pipeline Development : Design, create, and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure smooth data integration and processing across the organization.
- Web Tracking Support : Support the maintenance and optimization of web tracking setups, including Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and BigQuery.
- Infrastructure Maintenance : Collaborate with the DevOps team to maintain the underlying infrastructure, including job scheduling, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Das wünschen wir uns von Dir

- You have 1+ years working experience as a Business Strategist, Decision Scientist, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer or a related position
- You have a degree in computer science, statistics, physics, econometrics, economics, business or a similar field
- You have preferably but not necessarily worked in a tech or web-focussed company before
- You are highly proficient in SQL and experienced with dashboarding tools (e.g. Metabase, Qlik, etc.)
- You have programming experience in Python
- You are highly results-oriented and comfortable with iterative processes
- You have strong communication skills and are comfortable interacting with a range of internal and external business stakeholders
- Your English skills are excellent in both, writing and speaking
- Ideally, you are experienced with DevOps tools (e.g. CI/CD pipelines, Docker, NoSQL/SQL database configuration)
- Ideally, you are experienced with Apache Airflow or similar workflow management toools
- Ideally, you are experienced with web tracking/analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, attribution modelling)
