Boddington is a flagship Newmont gold and copper operation in Western Australia, located about 130 kilometres south-east of Perth and 16 kilometres from the rural town of Boddington. As one of Australia's largest gold producers, Boddington is recognised for its leadership in innovation and technology, including becoming the world's first gold mine to implement an Autonomous Haulage System.

##### Your Contribution
As a Engineer Reliability, you'll enhance fleet reliability by applying reliability tools, improving maintenance strategies and identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance and cost outcomes. You'll contribute to the reliability and optimisation of existing mining systems and infrastructure at Newmont's Boddington operation.
##### As Part of Our Team, You Will
Design and review equipment maintenance strategies, monitor performance data and translate reliability opportunities into cost and performance improvements.
Assess equipment and operational risks, implement appropriate mitigation measures and support compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Support maintenance planning through reliability reporting, defect elimination activities, work package requirements and maintenance scheduling.
Provide reliability expertise to capital projects and guide execution teams in root cause analysis.
Collaborate across Mine Technical Services, Mine Operations, Sustaining Capital Projects, Mill Operations, Finance, Long-Term Planning, corporate teams, business partners and contractors, while coaching and mentoring engineers.
##### Prerequisites for Success in This Role
An engineering designation.
Advanced proficiency in mechanical engineering, performance monitoring and risk management, with practical capability in maintenance planning and risk mitigation.
Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance, supported by strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
Competent computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, with the capability to learn SAP work management and FRM safety applications.
A valid driver's licence and the ability to build effective working relationships across different disciplines.
##### Your Work Environment
Based at Newmont's Boddington operation on a 5/2, 4/3 roster.
Work within an Operations and Mine Technical Services environment focused on maintaining and optimising existing mining systems and infrastructure.
Collaborate with Mine Technical Services, Mine Operations, Sustaining Capital Projects, Mill Operations, Finance, Long-Term Planning, corporate teams, business partners and contractors.
Contribute to a positive and productive working environment while coaching and mentoring engineers.
Support a work environment where all unsafe work is stopped.
