Security Guard - Corporate Events

Securitas Canada is looking for professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team for a temporary corporate event from Nov 1-7, 2026, in Downtown Toronto.

This posting is for multiple vacancies on a temporary basis. We will be looking to retain guards on a permanent basis in casual, part time or full-time roles (when available) that perform well and have excellent attendance at the event.

What You Will Do:

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

- Monitor and patrol the assigned property
- Control access to the site and ensure only authorized attendees are allowed into the venue/office.
- Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Assist attendees with inquiries and ensure their safety during the event.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
- Conduct regular patrols on foot and inspections
- Enforce client and site-specific security policies
- Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors etc.
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Contact emergency services when required
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned

What We Need from You:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Strong observation and attention to detail
- Ability to complete written reports accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Previous security experience is required.
- Sites with government contracts will require candidates to be eligible for a reliability clearance.
- Be able to work both early morning shifts and afternoon shifts. There are no night shifts for this position.
