Looking for a hands-on job where you can learn new skills and build a future in the automotive industry? O’Brien Auto Team is looking for a dependable, motivated Automotive Technician Assistant to join our Service Department!

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, likes to stay busy, and wants to learn from experienced automotive technicians. No previous dealership experience is required — we're willing to train the right person!

Even better? This is a Monday–Friday position with NO Saturday work!

What You'll Do

- Assist automotive technicians with daily service department tasks.

- Clean and prepare customer vehicles, inside and out.

- Check and top off fluids, check tire pressure, refuel vehicles, and charge batteries.

- Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership.

- Keep track of vehicle locations and status.

- Maintain clean, organized service bays, drive lanes, and parking areas.

- Restock supplies and help keep the shop running smoothly.

- Work with technicians, service advisors, and other team members to support daily operations.

- Learn basic automotive service procedures, shop safety, and dealership operations.

What We're Looking For

- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

- High school diploma or GED.

- Basic mechanical knowledge or an interest in learning automotive skills.

- A dependable, hardworking attitude and willingness to learn.

- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

No automotive experience? No problem! If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and are ready to learn, we'd like to meet you.
