Responsible for day-to-day operations of Community Action Council ' s Child Development classrooms . Responsible for providing leadership to teaching staff , implements activities to
ensure achievement of curriculum , child outcomes and maintenance of National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation, compliance with state licensing requirements, local ordinances and Head Start Program Performance Standards .
Qualifications
Education: Masters, Bachelors or Associate in:
Preferred degree : interdisciplinary early childhood education, early childhood special education , early childhood education , earl y childhood development , elementary education , child care assistant, child development services , human sciences, individual and family studies .
Related degree: psychology, sociology , art therapy, child life , elementary education , nursing , speech therapy , counseling , human services , human services administration or program administration, nursery school teacher , university or general studies with emphasis in early childhood , physical therapy , occupation therapy .
