If you’re ready to shape the future of biologics and be part of a once-in-a-generation project, we want you on our team.
Introduction to role:
Are you ready to lead a high-performing manufacturing shift that turns pioneering science into reliable supply for patients? Can you anticipate risks on the shopfloor, rally a team around the plan, and deliver right-first-time batches in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment? Based at our Singapore site, you will lead day-to-day execution of the shift production plan for an innovative facility. You will set the pace for safe, compliant and efficient operations, ensuring people, equipment, materials and documentation are ready before work begins. By partnering closely with Quality, Engineering, Safety, Warehouse, Laboratory and technical teams, you will keep production on track, resolve issues effectively, and sustain inspection readiness. This role is built for leaders who thrive at the point of execution—where decisions matter in the moment and outcomes directly impact patients. If you want to grow your capability while guiding a skilled team through complex manufacturing activities, this is your opportunity to make a tangible difference.
Accountabilities:
- Safety, Quality and Compliance Leadership: Lead the shift in line with batch records, SOPs, permits and cGMP requirements; promote a speak-up, safety-first culture; and take decisive action to stop or place operations in a safe state when risk arises, preserving evidence and escalating appropriately.
- Shift Plan Delivery and Operational Control: Translate the production schedule into an executable shift plan, assign work by technician capability, verify readiness of personnel, equipment and materials, and maintain oversight of critical steps, alarms, excursions and abnormal conditions to protect product and schedule.
- Team Leadership and Capability: Set clear expectations, run effective start-up and handover tier meetings, provide visible shopfloor leadership, mentor technicians, reinforce procedural subject area and maintain training awareness to ensure robust shift coverage and resilience.
- Deviation, Investigation and Change Management: Ensure abnormalities are contained and documented with initial impact assessments; lead or support structured troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and timely CAPA closure; and support change controls, risk assessments, validation and inspection readiness.
- Cross-functional Coordination and Continuous Improvement: Secure timely support from Quality, Engineering, SHE, Warehouse, Laboratory and MS&T to resolve issues; use process data and tiered performance information to improve safety, yield, cycle time and reliability; and sustain 5S, standard work, visual management and digital systems.
- Operational Readiness and Equipment Qualification: Support SOP and batch record readiness, equipment setup and line readiness; contribute to FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification and validation; and support start-up and lifecycle management of manufacturing and containment equipment.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or working towards a professional qualification, or High School/Technical/Associate/Vocational Diploma with equivalent experience.
- Experience in pharma or biopharma GMP manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on experience in equipment troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and issue resolution in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of GMP documentation, deviation management, change control, CAPA, and equipment lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and delivery in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- A strong safety-first attitude, with awareness of operator safety, equipment safety, containment control and shopfloor usability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience with operating Emerson Delta V, Veeva Quality Docs, SAP, Siemens PLCs, etc.
- Experience in ADC, high containment, high potency, aseptic, or other highly controlled manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to manufacturing investigations, equipment reliability improvement, or production support projects.
- Experience with structured problem solving, root cause analysis, Lean Six Sigma, or reliability improvement tools.
- Experience in using Single Use Systems
- Experience in Aseptic Manufacturing
- Experience in automated manufacturing equipment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Validation, QA, and SHE.
