Position Summary
The HVAC Installation Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of installation technicians and apprentices while ensuring exceptional workmanship, customer satisfaction, and operational performance. This role requires a strong leader who can build high-performing teams, hold employees accountable, and maintain the quality standards that have made F.H. Furr an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage residential HVAC installation technicians and apprentices
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit and hire top talent
- Train, mentor, and develop team members in partnership with technical trainers
- Establish performance expectations and support employee growth
- Ensure all installations meet company quality, safety, and customer service standards
- Monitor team productivity and overall operational performance
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Drive exceptional customer experiences through quality workmanship and service
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience within residential HVAC
- Strong residential HVAC installation background
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
