Talent Executive

Location: Manchester City Centre
Working hours: Flexible
Salary: Up to £31,000 + monthly bonus

Love finding great people? Ready to make an impact?

We're looking for a confident, ambitious and people-focused Talent Executive to join our People Team in Manchester.

At OrderYOYO, we're growing rapidly, with big plans for the future. Finding the right people, helping them develop and creating an environment where they can thrive are key to our success — and that's where you come in.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves recruitment, enjoys working with people and wants to make a genuine impact across the employee journey. You'll have the chance to bring fresh ideas, take ownership of projects and help shape how we attract, develop and retain talent as our business grows.

What we do at OrderYOYO

At OrderYOYO, we help independent restaurants and growing restaurant chains succeed online. Through personalised branded apps, websites and marketing solutions, we help restaurants attract customers, increase orders and build their businesses without relying on high third-party commission fees.

Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for helping others succeed.

The role

Working as part of our existing People Team in Manchester, you'll play an important role across Talent Acquisition, onboarding, employee development and retention.

You'll work closely with Function Heads and stakeholders across the UK and Ireland to understand their hiring needs, attract great candidates and continuously improve our people practices.

From managing end-to-end recruitment processes to identifying opportunities to improve training, engagement and people metrics, this is a varied role where no two days need to look the same.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys a challenge and isn't afraid to question the way things are done if there's a better way.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from writing engaging job adverts and managing applications through to screening calls, interviews, offers and onboarding.
- Partner with Function Heads and hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, team dynamics and what great talent looks like for each role.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to ensure we're attracting the right people for both current and future opportunities.
- Explore creative ways to attract candidates, improve engagement and strengthen our employer brand.
- Manage our applicant tracking system (ATS), monitor recruitment activity and use data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

Onboarding, Development & Retention

- Coordinate and support preboarding and onboarding activities, ensuring new starters feel welcomed, prepared and set up for success.
- Work alongside Function Heads and the Head of Talent & Development to identify training needs across our commercial teams.
- Support the development and implementation of training initiatives that help our people build their skills and perform at their best.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that support employee engagement, development and retention.
- Help identify opportunities to improve the employee experience at different stages of the employee journey.

People Projects & Continuous Improvement

- Review people data and metrics to identify trends, challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Take ownership of people-related projects and initiatives, helping turn ideas into practical actions.
- Look for ways to improve recruitment, onboarding and wider People processes, making them more efficient and effective.
- Build strong working relationships across the business, sharing ideas and collaborating to deliver meaningful results.
- Stay curious about new recruitment approaches, people practices and ways of working that could benefit OrderYOYO.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with energy, initiative and a genuine interest in people. You don't need to know everything from day one, but you do need to be proactive, organised and excited by the opportunity to make a difference.

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

- A natural people person: You enjoy speaking to people, building relationships and bringing out the best in others.
- Motivated and proactive: You take ownership, use your initiative and don't wait to be told what needs doing.
- Organised and detail-oriented: You're comfortable managing multiple vacancies, projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- Results-driven: You enjoy working towards goals, tracking progress and seeing the impact of your work.
- Adaptable and resilient: You can respond positively to change, manage competing priorities and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious and improvement-focused: You're always looking for better ways to attract talent, improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
- A confident communicator: You can communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, colleagues and senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player: You enjoy sharing ideas, supporting others and contributing to a positive team culture.

Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR or a people-focused role would be beneficial. We're also open to candidates with transferable experience who can demonstrate the right attitude, organisation and willingness to learn.

Above all, we value personality, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to succeed.

What we offer

- Up to £31,000 basic salary plus monthly bonus.
- Flexible working hours.
- Personal development plans and genuine career progression opportunities.
- Ongoing training, development and opportunities to broaden your experience.
- Monthly Friday socials and regular ad-hoc team events.
- Quarterly conferences and training days.
- Employee awards recognising great work.
- Holiday-buying scheme.
- Wellness Wednesdays.
- A supportive, social and collaborative working environment.
