Qualifications
Make a Difference Every Shift
As an LPN at La Plata County Jail, youll play an important role in providing quality patient care in a safe, secure, and structured healthcare setting.
Your responsibilities include:
- Delivering hands-on nursing care and monitoring patients symptoms, responses, and progress.
- Documenting patient care accurately and collaborating with healthcare providers on treatment plans.
- Administering medications in accordance with nursing standards, provider orders, and correctional healthcare guidelines.
- Performing patient assessments and responding to emergencies using sound clinical judgment.
- Practicing within your states scope of practice and following SHP policies and procedures.
