Framing Super
Location: Framingham, MA and Surrounding Areas
Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Framing Superintendent to oversee framing operations on construction projects in the Framingham, MA area. We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong framing knowledge who can manage crews, coordinate daily activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate framing crews on active construction sites.
- Oversee daily framing operations, including layout, rough framing, walls, floors, and roof systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction specifications.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules.
- Monitor workmanship, productivity, and project progress.
- Enforce jobsite safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Identify and resolve jobsite issues to keep projects on schedule.
- Perform hands-on framing work when needed to support the crew.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Framing Superintendent, Framing Foreman, or Lead Framer.
- Strong knowledge of residential or commercial framing methods and construction practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and manage framing crews effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and jobsite procedures.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to projects in and around Framingham, MA.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
