About this role

New Pig – WMS Administrator – Tipton, PA

The WMS Administrator owns day-to-day configuration, administration, and first-line support of New Pig's Warehouse Management System (Manhattan Active Warehouse) on behalf of Fulfillment Operations. This is a systems/business-analyst function, not a warehouse supervision role.

Responsibilities

•        Partner with IT to design and maintain WMS role definitions aligned to warehouse job functions

•        Configure and maintain business-user-level rules and settings, including customer-specific special handling requirements, wave planning parameters, and Labor Management System (LMS) reasonable expectancy targets

•        Build, maintain, and troubleshoot self-service reports and dashboards for Supervisors, Leads, the Fulfillment Manager, Director, and executive/finance stakeholders

•        Serve as the first-line point of contact for WMS questions and issues from Leads, Supervisors, and associates, resolving common configuration and usage issues directly before escalating to vendor support

•        Partner with IT on new integrations, application support, change management, and system support; all production configuration changes, access provisioning, and integration work follow IT’s change management and security processes.

•        Coordinate with the vendor's support team on system issues, upgrades, and enhancement requests; track open tickets through to resolution

•        Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades, new configurations, and integration changes before they reach the production environment

•        Maintain documentation of system configuration, business rules, and standard operating procedures for WMS administration, ensuring continuity if the role changes hands

•        Partner with the Director and Fulfillment Manager to identify opportunities where WMS configuration changes could improve operational efficiency, and implement approved changes

•        Support DC2/DC3 rollout activities by preparing configuration templates and documentation for future site deployments

Require ments

•        Strong, current working knowledge of New Pig's fulfillment operations and material flow – this is weighted more heavily than prior WMS platform experience

•        Technically inclined – comfortable learning new software systems and translating operational/business needs into system configuration, without requiring a formal IT/programming background

•        Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills – able to diagnose whether an issue is a configuration problem, a user error, or a genuine system defect requiring vendor escalation

•        Comfortable working directly with warehouse operations staff (Leads, Supervisors, associates) to understand real workflow needs, not just working from a ticket queue

•        Clear written and verbal communication – this role frequently translates between operational needs and system capability for both technical and non-technical audiences

•        Proficiency with Excel ; F amiliarity with other reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

•        Experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse or a comparable modern cloud WMS platform

•        Prior experience administering an enterprise operational system (WMS, ERP, or similar)

•        Familiarity with labor management systems (LMS) and reasonable expectancy-based performance tracking

•        Experience with SQL or basic data querying for report-building beyond native reporting tools

•        Experience supporting a multi-site warehouse operation or a WMS rollout across more than one facility

Working Conditions

•        Primarily an office/administrative role based at the DC1 Tipton facility, with regular time spent on the warehouse floor to observe workflows, train users, and troubleshoot issues in context

•        Standard business hours, with occasional availability needed to support off-shift issues or planned system changes outside normal operating hours

•        Some travel possible to support DC2/DC3 configuration and rollout activities as those sites come online
