The Role:
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for the execution of inventory transactions for the Support Center, Showrooms and Alternate Channels. These responsibilities include the accurate and timely processing of all inventory transfers and cycle counts.
Responsibilities
- The execution and facilitation of inventory transfers and Cycle Counts
- Partner with Distribution Center and Inventory Management in the execution of merchandise consolidations, inter-store transfers and inventory disposition processes
- Works in partnership with Warehouse Associates on transfers
- Execution of the Store Design inventory transfer requests
- Assist in the movement Store Design product to “Build out”
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to four years of related experience and/or training in distribution/logistics, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or other warehouse environment.
- Current forklift/reach/cherry picker certification or the ability to become certified is required.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge, or demonstrate the ability to be able to use and understand the use of, personal computer applications, and various software including but not limited to, RF scanning equipment, FedEx Ship Manager, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to partner with other departments and take lead role in ensuring proper management of inventory
- Independent, self-starter
- Detail oriented and organized, with excellent follow‐through skills
- Lifting requirement: up to 50 pounds
