OUR VALUES

HARD WORK

We value hard work and work done well: work that creates value for customers, partners and teammates.

INTEGRITY

We are fair and direct in every circumstance. We do what we say we will do, and when we fall short, we own it and make it right.

TEAMWORK

Teamwork is a force multiplier. Built on a clear purpose, a shared mission and common values, a team achieves far more than individuals.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Financial Analyst or Associate (title commensurate with experience) to join our growing investment team. You will work directly with senior team members across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence through execution and portfolio support, with meaningful responsibility from day one.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Financial analysis. Build and maintain models to evaluate potential investments, including returns analysis (IRR, MOIC), net present value, projected cash flows, valuation and add-on acquisition impact.

- Business diligence. Analyze target company performance using granular operating data such as backlog, job-level margins, WIP schedules and customer mix, together with material from management teams, advisors and third-party providers.

- Industry research. Research the mechanical, electrical and specialty contracting markets, including end-market demand drivers, labor and cost trends, regulatory and economic factors, and new investment opportunities.

- Investment materials. Prepare investment committee memos, lender presentations and other marketing materials.

- Transaction execution. Support acquisitions, financings and due diligence efforts, coordinating with legal, accounting and other advisors.

- Portfolio support. Partner with portfolio company leadership on performance tracking, reporting and value-creation initiatives.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.

- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory or corporate development is preferred.

- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong financial modeling and Excel proficiency.

- Solid knowledge of accounting and economic principles, financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

- Understanding of the management principles behind strategic planning and resource allocation.

- Ability to communicate clearly at both a conceptual and technical level, in writing and in person.

- Genuine interest in specialty contracting and industrial businesses, and a fit with our values of hard work, integrity and teamwork.
