CDL-A Local Reefer Driver – Ft. Morgan, CO

Earn an average of $80,000 per year hauling frozen meat on a dedicated local route in the Denver area. Enjoy home daily , a Sunday–Thursday schedule, evening start times, and yearly mileage-pay increases. This is a hands-on delivery position that requires unloading palletized meat at the customer site.

Main Yard / Starting Location

Ft. Morgan, CO / Commerce City, CO route — drivers haul frozen meat from the distribution center in Ft. Morgan to a drop yard in Commerce City, then deliver to the customer’s freezer facility. Drivers must complete onboarding and training in Denver, CO. Commerce City is a remote domicile with no management onsite.

Pay Details

- Average Annual Pay: $80,000
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,550
- Mileage Pay: $0.63–$0.67 CPM
- Yearly Raises: $0.01 CPM increases until reaching $0.67 CPM

Job Details

- Haul palletized frozen meat in refrigerated trailers.
- Transport freight from the distribution center in Ft. Morgan to the Commerce City drop yard.
- Unload palletized meat into freezers at the customer site.
- Use a dolly, electric pallet jack, and liftgate for unloading.
- Freight boxes average 10–85 lbs.
- Must be able to lift up to 85 lbs when needed.
- May assist other dedicated accounts as required.
- Customer service skills are important due to frequent customer interaction.
- This is a physically demanding position.

- Sunday–Thursday
- Start time: 6:00 PM
- Average shift: 10–12 hours
- Home daily

Job Requirements

- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must be able to lift up to 85 lbs.
- Must be comfortable with physical unloading and frequent customer interaction.
- Must complete onboarding and training in Denver, CO.
- Must be willing to assist other accounts as needed.
