1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday

What Youll Do

Youll learn several jobs and rotate between them, so no two days feel the same.

- Make sand cores. Youll run machines that form sand into cores. Cores shape the inside of our metal parts, so getting them right matters.

- Build and clean up cores. Youll put core pieces together, glue and coat them, and clean off extra sand so theyre ready to use.

- Take care of the equipment. Youll clean and blow out core boxes with air wands and help fix small problems when they come up.

- Finish metal parts. Youll use hand tools to smooth and clean up castings after they come out of the mold.

- Run blast and test equipment. Youll load parts into shot blast machines and testing equipment to make sure every part is strong and clean.

- Check for quality. Youll look over parts before they move on and fill out simple paperwork to track your work.

- Work safely. Youll wear safety gear every day and follow our safety rules. This is active, hands-on work: youll be on your feet, lifting parts up to 50 lbs, in a foundry that can get warm and loud.
