Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be able to:

- Work professionally and effectively in a structured correctional environment.

- Read, understand, and follow company recipes and food preparation guidelines.

- Lead, instruct, and assist with daily kitchen operations and meal preparation.

- Perform food preparation, baking, cooking, and kitchen cleanup duties.

- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.

- Maintain a positive attitude while helping ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently.

Position Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Availability to work rotating weekends and holidays.

- Flexibility to work varying days and hours, with shifts scheduled between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM .

- Ability to work 10-hour shifts.

- Successful clearance and approval to work within the facility.

Previous food service or kitchen experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person! A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to teamwork are what matter most.
