CompleteRx is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Moore County Hospital District, a 25-bed acute care facility in Dumas, TX.

Work Schedule

- Full-Time position: 32 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday)

- Hours: 8am - 5pm (1-hour lunch)

- The pharmacy is closed on the evenings and weekends.

What You Will Do:

- Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders.

- Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts and floor stock accurately.

- Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) accurately.

- Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately.

- Rotates stock to ensure use before expiration date.

- Picks up orders, requisitions, and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.

- Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately.

- Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Six months of pharmacy technician experience is a plus.

- Possess current pharmacy technician license in the State of Texas.

- Possess current National Pharmacy Technician certification.

- Possess I.V. certification or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire date and we will train.

- Successful completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training course is a plus.
