Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse

JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN OUTPATIENT LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)!

(Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with one evening shift per week 12pm-8:30pm)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Outpatient LPN to join our team at  Hendricks Behavioral Hospital !

As an Outpatient LPN you will assist in providing nursing care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices in a mental health setting.

- Scheduling initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management follow-up appointments for the Outpatient department. Send and confirm appointment reminders.

- Coordinating with providers and administrative staff to optimize appointment flow and reduce patient wait times.

- Clinical duties including but not limited to taking and recording vital signs, documenting medical history, specimen collection, administering medications as needed.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients with appointment related questions, medication refills or concerns.

- Maintaining accurate schedule logs, connection log updates, and patient records.

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational privacy standards.

- Assist with Intake paperwork related to the patients.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

- Education & Licensure:  A   nursing   degree from an accredited nursing school required. Licensed to practice as an LPN in the state of Indiana.

- Experience:  A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.

- Additional Skill Requirements:   Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR and CPI certification required within 90 days of employment.

Compensation:

This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $27.00 to $35.00 hourly. We are eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and we will consider their experience and skill level during the selection process.
