About this role
Description
Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
This is a hands-on manufacturing engineering role providing direct production floor support for mechanical sub-assemblies on the Leo satellite program. You will be the front-line engineering presence on the production line, ensuring hardware keeps moving through the build process by rapidly troubleshooting issues, dispositioning non-conformances, and driving real-time solutions that maintain line flow and schedule adherence. You will be directly responsible for keeping the production line running by owning non-conformance resolution, driving root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions on our next-generation spacecraft hardware. You'll serve as the go-to technical authority on the floor, providing immediate engineering support to technicians and ensuring production disruptions are resolved quickly and effectively. In this role, you will also identify recurring quality escapes and implement process improvements that reduce non-conformance rates, while supporting the broader team of manufacturing engineers in sustaining a high-rate production environment.
