✨ Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician – Put Your Skills to Work! ✨
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves fixing things and tackling new challenges? Join the Friendship Village Tempe team and help keep our community safe, beautiful, and running smoothly!
✨ Pay: $22.20-$24.42 per hour (DOE)
✨ Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 6:30am-3:00pm, occasionally carrying on-call pager required
✨ What You'll Do:
- Tackle repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliances, and building systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and electric carts
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using tools, testing equipment, and schematics
- Assist with HVAC, pumps, motors, and other facility systems as qualified
- Support emergency systems, safety procedures, and building security
- Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and keep tools and work areas in great shape
- Provide friendly, professional service to residents and team members
✨ What You Bring:
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (within 30 days of hire)
- HVAC/EPA Certifications preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a safety-first mindset
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and work in varying conditions
- Flexibility for occasional on-call duties
