- Interpret and contribute to electrical drawings and designs using CAD or 3D modelling software.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that electrical components are appropriately incorporated into the overall mechanical design.
- Learn and apply the team’s technical tools, processes, and design methods with support from experienced colleagues.
- You will work with committed teams solving complex design challenges that shape the future of mobility and help ensure the effective integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
What You Bring
- Current studies in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with relevant exposure to electrical systems or electrical design work may also be considered.
- Basic understanding of electrical equipment, wires, connectors, harnesses, and electrical drawings.
- Experience using CAD or 3D modelling software.
- Interest in integrating electrical and mechanical components.
- Ability to interpret or contribute to electrical design within a 3D environment.
- Ability to learn new technical tools, concepts, and design methods.
How Success Is Measured
- Steady progress on assigned design and equipment-integration activities.
- Accurate interpretation and application of electrical drawings within a 3D design environment.
- Effective collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and other project team members.

Alstom, A Great Place to Grow
- Build practical experience on multiple rail projects.
- Strengthen your knowledge of electrical design, 3D modelling, and equipment integration.
- Develop your technical skills through training, mentorship, and internal support.
- Contribute locally in St Bruno within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Here, progress isn’t always easy, but the impact is real. Because the scale is massive, the tasks are complex. When the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects, that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.
