About this role
Are you a Senior UX Designer with a strong background in complex enterprise, retail or space planning products? Are you comfortable designing for varied user groups and contexts, from store-floor activities to specialist expansion planning? Can you balance immediate MVP needs with a coherent long-term experience? Then this assignment could be for you.
About the assignment
You will assist our client, a global home furnishing company, in shaping the future of Commercial Planning. The client is creating a new Commercial Planning solution that will support Sales co-workers, expansion teams, Home Furnishing & Retail Design co-workers, and retail equipment planning across markets and franchisees.
As UX Designer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing a simple, guided and scalable planning experience. It covers both day-to-day operations and major commercial projects such as new stores, expansions and rebuilds.
What you’ll do
- Design intuitive, scalable planning experiences: understand the different user journeys and experiences within the tool.
- Lead user-centred discovery and design: plan and conduct research, map end-to-end journeys, identify pain points and translate insights into clear design priorities.
- Prototype, test and refine continuously: create flows and prototypes, validate them with users in multiple markets, and use feedback and evidence to guide the development.
- Simplify complex planning workflows: turn business rules, spatial constraints, product data and 3D models into guided experiences that are easy to learn and efficient to use.
- Shape a connected, reusable design foundation: collaborate with engineering and platform teams on integration with other commercial planning solutions, retail equipment and shared planning data, using design systems and reusable patterns to support future scale.
- Embrace the possibilities of AI-assisted design and software development.
