Safety Officer

Summary

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental procedures at façade construction sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable safety regulations. The role involves conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, enforcing safe work practices, particularly for work at height, scaffolding, lifting operations, and façade installation activities, and delivering safety briefings to site personnel. The Safety Officer will also investigate incidents, maintain safety records, and coordinate with project management and site teams to promote a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies and safety regulations.

Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.

Enforce safety measures for work at height, scaffolding, lifting, and façade installation.

Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel.

Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.

Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and unsafe practices.

Maintain safety records and inspection reports.

Coordinate with site management to implement corrective actions.

0-2 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry is mandatory
Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
Strong communication and reporting skills
