About this role

[What the role is]
[LTA-TRO] ASSISTANT MANAGER, ENFORCEMENT ENGAGEMENT

The Enforcement Engagement section works with the public, volunteers and partners to improve compliance with LTA's rules through engagement, education and partnerships that complement enforcement. We are always looking for fresh ideas and new partners, and we try new approaches and grow those that make a difference. We also explore how data, technology and AI can help us better understand behaviours, engage different groups and improve compliance outcomes.

As Assistant Manager, you will support the section in turning new ideas into action. You will help gather insights from ground observations and stakeholder feedback, support the piloting of new initiatives, and keep our volunteer programmes, campaigns, educational outreach and partnerships running smoothly. You will be a key point of contact for volunteers, schools, partners and vendors.

[What you will be working on]

- Support the identification and piloting of new initiatives and partnerships by gathering insights from enforcement data, ground observations, stakeholder feedback and good practices locally and overseas, including opportunities to use technology, data and AI
- Handle day-to-day volunteer management, including onboarding, briefings, training, rostering and communications
- Support the planning and execution of compliance campaigns and roadshows, working with Corporate Communications, designers and vendors to develop educational materials such as posters, leaflets and social media content
- Coordinate school engagement and referrals under the juvenile offender referral framework, and support the delivery of education sessions for young offenders
- Support partnerships with corporate stakeholders such as platform and fleet operators, for example through rider and driver briefings and joint safety initiatives
- Support engagement with grassroots organisations, public agencies and community groups, and coordinate targeted outreach and joint activities with enforcement officers at hotspots, including logistics and post-activity reports
- Maintain engagement, referral and volunteer records, track outreach numbers, and help evaluate outcomes and what works
- Handle procurement, claims and administration for section activities

As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.

[What we are looking for]

- Knowledge in any discipline
- At least 2–3 years of experience in community or stakeholder engagement, campaigns, education programmes, events or programme coordination (fresh graduates with relevant internship or CCA experience may apply)
- Curious and open to new ideas, with the initiative to question how things are done and suggest better ways
- Able to see how different pieces fit together, and turn ideas and insights into practical action
- Interested in innovation, and keen to learn and use technology, data and AI tools in engagement work
- Strong organisation and coordination skills, and able to juggle multiple activities
- Good interpersonal skills, and comfortable engaging members of the public, students, volunteers and partners
- Good written and communication skills, with creativity and an eye for content, with experience developing print or digital collateral as an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office; design tools (e.g. Canva) or data skills are a plus
- Sound judgement and a sense of responsibility when dealing with sensitive situations, including matters involving young persons
- Willingness to work occasionally outside office hours for patrols, events and outreach
