About the role

As a Consultant Lead, Professional Services – Asset Finance, you will lead functional consulting and solution-delivery activities for technology supporting the asset finance lifecycle. You will work directly with financial institutions and internal technology teams to understand business requirements, optimize processes and translate complex needs into effective solutions. You will support implementations, migrations, upgrades and integrations while helping ensure solutions meet business and operational requirements.

Your key responsibilities

- Lead the analysis and definition of business processes, system scope, objectives and functional requirements for asset finance solutions.
- Work with clients and internal stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate and translate business needs into functional specifications and solution requirements.
- Lead functional activities across implementations, conversions, migrations, upgrades and system integrations.
- Configure, validate and test solutions, conduct acceptance activities and confirm that delivered functionality meets agreed business requirements.
- Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities while guiding stakeholders throughout the solution-delivery lifecycle.

What you bring

Required qualifications

- Extensive experience in business analysis, functional consulting or professional services within financial services or financial technology.
- Strong knowledge of asset finance products, processes and operational workflows, including origination, contract management, accounting, collections, asset management and end-of-contract activities.
- Experience translating complex business requirements into process models, use cases, functional specifications and system requirements.
- Strong understanding of complete software-development lifecycles, including Agile, Waterfall, iterative and other modern delivery approaches.
- Demonstrated experience leading client-facing implementations, migrations, upgrades, integrations or business-transformation projects.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience working with asset finance or leasing technology platforms.
- Accounting, lease-accounting or enterprise implementation experience.
- Experience working directly with financial institutions, lenders, lessors or asset finance organizations.

The internal Asset Finance functional consultant specification identifies asset finance and leasing knowledge, accounting fundamentals, contract servicing, client consulting and enterprise implementation experience as relevant to this type of role.
