About this role
Join Our Transport & Safety Team!
Do you love keeping things running smoothly, safely and on time? 4th Dimension Innovation is looking for a Transport and Health & Safety Coordinator to join us onsite in Egham! We’re a fast-growing, owner-managed group of businesses specialising in the motorcycle market, and our driver team keeps everything moving. If you’re organised, detail-driven and like a varied day, this is your chance to keep the wheels turning and everyone safe.
Sitting within our Transport team, you’ll also work closely with our Health and Safety Lead, providing coordination and admin support across our driver operation and our Group-wide health and safety programme. Transport tasks come first each day and make up just over half your week. The rest is spent on H&S administration across our sites.
Main Duties
- Carrying out daily driver hours audits and escalating any infringements or concerns
- Processing daily driver invoicing, scanning supplier invoices and booking hotels for drivers working away
- Investigating Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) through to resolution
- Booking bikes off-site and booking in Cat B collections
- Completing weekly driving licence checks and producing speeding and best/worst driver reports from Webfleet
- Arranging van taxing and producing monthly fuel and mileage reports
- Acting as Mitty super user: reviewing daily checklists, keeping the H&S Tracker up to date and escalating issues
- Logging adverse events, reviewing new starter DSE questionnaires and compiling admin sections of the monthly H&S report
- Running first aid, burn kit and defibrillator audits across all sites, and keeping Fire Marshal and First Aider posters and records up to date
- Arranging planned safety checks (extinguishers, EICR testing, air quality surveys, PPE audits), booking and signing in contractors, and filing certificates
- Supporting monthly H&S meetings, including covering sites where required, and helping manage the shared H&S inbox
Key Skills
- Strong organisation, able to prioritise time-critical transport tasks while still completing the day’s H&S work
- High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in audits, invoicing and compliance records
- Confident IT user with good Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel), and quick to pick up new systems
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the confidence to escalate issues and deal with drivers, managers and contractors
- Reliable and comfortable working to fixed daily deadlines and recurring audit schedules
- Discretion and sound judgement with personal and sensitive information
- Able to travel between our Group sites as required
