Supervisor, Shipping

The Supervisor, Shipping oversees and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties either directly or through subordinates.

This position will serve Rheem North America and our HTPG Division , located in Scottsboro, AL . This position is on-site.

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field OR relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment.
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the
- general public.
- Basic mathematical skills including the ability to calculate discounts and percentages.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
