About this role

About Us

Appficiency is a global technology and professional services firm that solves complex business challenges through the intelligent application of enterprise software, automation, and AI. We're a proud Oracle NetSuite Alliance Partner; Salesforce Crest Partner; Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, and much more: our evolution has taken us well beyond a single platform, making us a multi-technology advisory and implementation partner across ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, and AI-driven solutions. What sets us apart is a "technical-first" approach, teams who understand both business logic and deep system architecture paired with a genuine belief that our people are our greatest strength, and that's who we invest in first.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Manager I, you will step beyond individual program delivery into a broader leadership role — overseeing a team of Project Managers, owning PMO performance across a portfolio of clients, and shaping delivery strategy at an organizational level. You are viewed as a senior executive partner by clients and firm leadership, directly accountable for the health, profitability, and growth of the programs and people under your leadership. This role blends deep delivery expertise with people leadership and strategic influence across the practice.

What You'll Do

- Own PMO performance across a portfolio of client programs, accountable for delivery quality, profitability, and client satisfaction

- Lead and manage a team of Project Managers, overseeing their performance, development, and career growth

- Serve as the senior escalation point across the portfolio for the most critical program-level risks and issues

- Set and continuously refine delivery standards and PMO governance across your portfolio

- Build and deepen executive-level client relationships, driving strategic account growth and long-term partnerships

- Own strategic resourcing and capacity planning across your portfolio, partnering with PMO and firm leadership

- Guide clients on enterprise-level program and portfolio strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives

- Own executive reporting on portfolio health, risk, and outcomes for firm leadership

- Drive business development efforts related to program and portfolio management engagements

- Represent Appficiency's delivery capability externally, contributing to the firm's reputation and market presence

- Contribute to practice-level strategy, including resourcing models, hiring, and PMO evolution

What You'll Bring

- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred

- 8-10+ years in project/program management, with proven experience leading project managers or teams

- PMI-PMP or PMI-ACP or equivalent certification is required

- Deep, expert-level experience with the NetSuite platform and enterprise delivery environments

- Demonstrated success building and scaling profitable, long-term executive-level client relationships

- Exceptional strategic and business acumen, able to align portfolio objectives with firm-wide strategy

- Outstanding executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Superior judgment and decision-making ability under ambiguity, pressure, and competing priorities

- Proven track record managing and developing project management talent

- Advanced knowledge of enterprise architecture, delivery methodology, and industry best practices

- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed

- Must be eligible to work in and travel to Canada and the United States.

What Will Set You Apart

- Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of programs and a team of project managers simultaneously

- Recognized as a senior, trusted advisor at the executive level, both with clients and internally

- Strong track record scaling client accounts and driving business development outcomes

- Proven ability to develop Project Managers into future practice leaders

- Meaningful, visible contributions to firm-wide delivery strategy and PMO evolution

What Success Looks Like

- You are trusted to own and grow a portfolio of client programs with consistently strong outcomes

- Executive stakeholders regard you as an indispensable strategic partner for their program and portfolio strategy

- Delivery standards and governance you've shaped are adopted and consistently applied across your portfolio

- The Project Managers you lead are advancing in skill, confidence, and career progression

- You are a visible driver of business development and practice growth on the PM/delivery track
