Our ultimate mission is to support one million SMEs in their defining moments, creating lasting impact for the communities and economies they drive.

We’re looking for a Broker Relationship Executive

As the face of iwoca to a wide range of UK brokers, you will act as a trusted advisor, problem solver, and relationship builder. From training brokers on our products to advocating for their deals internally and attending key industry events, you will be given the autonomy and support to take ownership of a high-impact portfolio and directly drive our market expansion.

The role

You will manage day-to-day interactions across our expanding UK network, with a strong focus on long-tail broker accounts. You will combine phone, email, LinkedIn, and face-to-face outreach to unlock partner potential, while leveraging internal data tools to track pipeline performance and maintain accurate CRM records.

Responsibilities

- Proactively build iwoca’s presence across the UK by acquiring, engaging, and activating broker relationships across all communication channels.
- Champion broker needs internally by collaborating with credit assessment, operations, and product teams to progress applications and resolve queries.
- Deliver a seamless on-boarding experience for new brokers, guiding them step-by-step through their initial deal submissions.
- Serve as the dedicated first point of contact for long-tail broker accounts outside of standard panels to support their ongoing daily requests.
- Monitor activity metrics and pipeline data to spot engagement trends, identify high-potential partners, and step in to support at-risk relationships.
- Conduct training sessions to keep partners up to date on iwoca policies, and represent the business at regional and industry networking events.

Requirements

We look for people who are smart, humble, motivated and who are always looking to improve. To succeed as a Broker Relationship Executive, you’ll also bring:

- A minimum of 2 years client management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner, and confidence delivering presentations both in person and virtually via webinars.
- Commercial curiosity with a genuine interest in financial products, third-party dynamics, and how brokers operate within the lending ecosystem.
- Strong organisational skills and a self-directed approach, with a proven track record of managing a high-volume workload, prioritising your calendar, and taking ownership of new responsibilities to a high standard.
- A confident, people-focused mindset, taking pride in personal contributions while thriving as a collaborative team player dedicated to building strong relationships.
- Proficiency using CRM tools and dashboards to track broker engagement, monitor pipeline data, and manage a dispersed portfolio of accounts.
- Willingness to travel via car or train for partner meetings and industry events, including occasional overnight stays.

The salary

We expect to pay from £35,000 - £50,000 + bonus for this role. But, we’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.

The culture

At iwoca, we prioritise a culture of learning, growth, and support, and invest in the development of our team members. We value thought and skill diversity, and encourage people to explore new areas of interest, adopt better tools – including AI – and apply sound judgement so our products and decisions improve over time.

The offices

We put a lot of effort into making iwoca a great place to work:

- Offices in London, Leeds, Berlin, and Frankfurt with plenty of drinks and snacks.
- Events and community-led groups, including running groups, padel, and monthly ping-pong and pool competitions.

The benefits

- Flexible working hours.
- Medical insurance from Vitality, including discounted gym membership.
- A choice between a dedicated dental plan or a health cash plan that reimburses everyday medical expenses.
- A private GP service (separate from Vitality) for you, your partner, and your dependents.
- 25 days’ holiday per year, an extra day off for your birthday, the option to buy or sell an additional five days of annual leave, and unlimited unpaid leave.
- A one-month, fully paid sabbatical after four years.
- Instant access to external counselling and therapy sessions for team members that need emotional or mental health support.
- 3% Pension contributions on total earnings.
- An employee equity incentive scheme.
- Generous parental leave and a nursery tax benefit scheme to help you save money.
- Electric car scheme and cycle to work scheme.
- Two company retreats a year: we’ve been to France, Italy, Spain, and further afield.

And to make sure we all keep learning, we offer:

- A learning and development budget for everyone.
- Company-wide talks with internal and external speakers.
- Access to learning platforms like Treehouse.
