About this role
Overview
Part-Time Family Assistant – Shoreline, WA
A warm, community-minded couple is seeking a thoughtful, organized Family Assistant to support them in their beloved family home. This is a part-time role for someone who can bring genuine care, discretion, and a gentle hands-on presence to a household that has always run independently and is now looking for the right support to keep things running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and intuitive with a calm presence, comfortable stepping into an established household rhythm with respect and patience. It is a strong plus if candidates have experience or understanding of Asian culture, and have a sound knowledge of when to step in and out. This family values their privacy, their independence, and their long-standing ways of doing things, so someone who can observe, learn, and manage tasks thoughtfully, rather than impose new systems, will be the best fit.
The family is motivated to find a meticulous and professional candidate for the long-term. They are happy to build the role around the right candidate, remaining flexible to setting the exact days and times that work best for the hired candidate, targeting between 15-30 hours a week, if desired. Remote hours offered for administrative tasks after an onboarding period.
