Manufacturing Shift Lead (Day Shift 8:00am - 8:00pm)

Who we are looking for:
- Ability to safely and efficiently set up machines for production runs, including adjustments and changeovers.
- Reporting and verifying production totals entered in JDE system, recording production data and assisting with preparing shift reports.
- Serve as a manufacturing technical expert for identified manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for floor operations and escalating issues to department leadership
- Continuously monitor machine performance and product quality during shift, anticipate problems, and trouble-shoot processes and equipment with the assistance of other support groups.
- Performs minor preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Monitors the shifts goals and measures of success on hour x hour boards, actively tracking progress toward goal attainment.
- Provide mentoring to Machine Operator levels I, II and III
What youll bring:
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Extrusion experience or the ability to quickly learn Atkores PVC extrusion operation and change over procedures.
- Able to read micrometer and O.D. tape.
- Able to change print lines.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $ 23/hour . Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
