Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace

Key Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering required.
- 3+ years of Aerospace Manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Routing Changes, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Work Instructions.

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer supports aerospace production by developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes. This role works closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, meet quality standards, and satisfy customer requirements.

Responsibilities

- Develop and improve aerospace manufacturing processes.
- Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
- Implement and manage routing changes and engineering changes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve production issues.
- Support new product introductions and process validation activities.
- Review engineering drawings and ensure manufacturability.
- Collaborate with production, quality, suppliers, and engineering teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience creating and revising work instructions.
- Experience implementing routing changes and engineering changes.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with machining, forming, stamping, welding, or sheet metal manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of aerospace materials such as aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and Inconel.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Burbank, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. health, dental, vision, 401K, 10 holidays, 2 weeks PTO
