About this role

At SimPL Freight Solutions , we simplify transportation for companies that move a lot of freight but don’t want the headache of managing it all themselves. We step in as their transportation team - coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, tracking performance, and improving how everything runs behind the scenes.

Our customers range from large manufacturers to high-volume distributors across industries like automotive, building materials, food, and packaging. No matter the industry, the goal is the same: keep freight moving smoothly, efficiently, and without surprises.

We pride ourselves on being proactive, responsive, and accountable - anticipating issues, communicating clearly, and continuously finding better ways to deliver results.

- Prepare and submit claim packages to carriers and, when applicable, insurance representatives; communicate with customers, carriers, adjusters, and internal teams regarding status and next steps.

- Maintain accurate claim files, track deadlines, and document communications and follow-up activity.

- Review claim responses and denials, assist with supporting responses, and coordinate approved settlements and payment follow-up.

- Escalate disputed claims, coverage concerns, potential liability, and other significant issues to the Senior Legal Specialist for review and direction.

- Help identify recurring claims patterns and opportunities to improve documentation and operational processes.
