Baptist Health is looking to hire a Medical Assistant for our Baptist Primary Care; Brooklyn Family Medicine office located in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville, FL.
This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM
The ideal candidate will be responsible for back-office Medical Assistant duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting providers with patient care. We are looking for a dependable, team-oriented individual with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to contribute to a smooth and efficient clinical workflow.

Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:
- Provides medical assistance to physicians
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
