About this role

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

As the Sr. Protective Services Specialist, you own the design, coordination, and daily execution of Docusign's executive protection (EP) program. You are responsible for program governance, vendor and contractor utilization, operational planning, advance work, training and overall support to protect designated executives during routine activities, travel, events, and at other locations as required. This is a cross-functional role that partners closely with internal and external partners.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Physical Safety & Security.

- Ensure real-time coordination with DESC, HR, Legal, Communications, and external law enforcement during active incidents

- Establish and maintain liaison relationships with law enforcement (as warranted), and other public agencies with responsibility for executive protection operations at high-risk events

- Develop, maintain, and refine EP program standards, SOPs, playbooks, and checklists covering travel, events, residences, and special situations

- Establish and track EP program KPIs: mission success/incident rate (zero tolerance target), vendor SLA compliance, program maturity assessment, cost per protected event; provide quarterly KPI reviews to leadership

- Manage vendor oversight: coordinate third-party EP vendors and contract personnel including tasking, service levels, performance management, and quality assurance

- Manage program logistics: scheduling, itinerary management, documentation, after-action reviews; recommend process optimization based on metrics and lessons learned

- Provide concise security briefings and recommendations to executives and their support staff before and during travel and events

- Partner with Workplace Experience and Facilities on physical/technical security for executive offices and frequently visited venues

- Coordinate with Legal, HR, Communications, and security teams on sensitive matters (threats, workplace violence, privacy) impacting executive safety

- Support business continuity and emergency response activities; integrate EP into crisis management processes

- Participate in on-call rotation to support urgent EP needs, after-hours issues, and time-sensitive changes

- Maintain high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all executive interactions and information handling
