THE JOB:
As a Lead Barista at Starbucks at Bellagio, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area, and providing leadership and guidance to the barista team. You will help set the stage for an exceptional guest experience through your warm hospitality, attention to detail, and commitment to service excellence. By understanding each guest's unique needs and preferences, you will create memorable experiences and deliver the personalized service that inspires lasting WOW moments long after their visit.

THE STARTING RATE: 17.8493 + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

- Lead, coach, and train a shift of approximately 3-12 employees.
- Knowledgeable in product offerings, selling techniques, and service delivery for menu items.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer matters to management and notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
- Process refunds and assist with operational support functions as assigned.
- Pack and complete orders according to guest preferences, ensuring all necessary condiments and accompaniments are included.
- Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
- Unload warehouse deliveries and stock designated storage areas while maintaining organization; replenish supplies and equipment as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance standards throughout the work area.
- Establish par levels for daily orders and complete daily order sheets.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience in a coffee shop, café, or specialty coffee environment preferred
