Position Overview :
The Bus Cleaner / Facility Maintenance Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the company’s buses and facilities. This position supports operational readiness by performing routine cleaning and upkeep tasks ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
Bus Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean bus exteriors using pressure washers and other equipment provided.
- Clean bus interiors, including trash removal, windows, dashboards, seats, handrails, and floors.
- Restock buses with required supplies as directed.
Facility Cleaning & Upkeep
- Clean offices, meeting rooms, parts rooms, and restrooms.
- Sweep depot and garage floors and remove trash.
- Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, including sidewalks and alleyways.
Safety & Security
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and in accordance with training and company standards.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to management promptly.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability to work evenings; weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
- Professional attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Physically and mentally able to perform job duties safely and reliably
