About this role
Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, quality is what makes our products feel like magic. ProductSystems Quality (PSQ) tests Apple products where hardware, firmware, and software meet. We testunder real-world conditions, from the first prototypes through launch, so customers can trust ourproducts with what matters most. Our work helps Apple ship products that set the industry standardfor quality, with hardware and software designed together so everything works seamlessly, day afterday. You’ll join a collaborative team of engineers who hold themselves to a high technical standard and who rely on evidence, not opinion, to decide when a product is ready.
We’re hiring a technically grounded engineering manager to lead a team of quality engineers. Yourteam will measure system, sensor, and feature performance across Apple’s shipping and exploratoryhardware programs. You’ll advise leadership on whether each product is ready to ship.
In this role, you’ll lead a team of engineers, decide what gets tested and how, and set the technicaldirection for test frameworks and infrastructure. You’ll lead code reviews, guide test architecture andsystem design, and give engineers clear technical direction. You’ll work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams and turn test results into clear, evidence-based recommendations onproduct readiness.
