Job Description

Responsibilities

- Working on exciting analytics projects involving optimization, statistics, analytic modeling, data processing etc.
- Sectors of interest including commercial and residential real estate, structured products, derivatives, equities, alternative investments
- Assisting current teams with ongoing business requirements
- Mentorship opportunities, coaching and career guidance
- Exposure to corporate culture and work environment through accounting related functions
- Ongoing presentations and training
- Full-time (40 hrs/week from June 2027 to August 2027)

Qualifications & Requirements

- Must be enrolled in a degree related to business, data science, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and VBA
- Strong programming skills, with emphasis on Python
- Strong mathematical and mathematical-finance background
- The ideal candidate will be service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), as well as a strong team player with a good work ethic.
- Must be able to come into the office.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Candidate should be mature, tactful and possess a professional image.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks, work well under pressure and be self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Working knowledge of SQL is an asset.
- This position would be suitable for those candidates who meet the role qualifications and who thrive in a performance-driven environment that emphasizes employee leadership and accountability for delivering results.

Compensation

- $50 per hour

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
