Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a Senior Data Analyst - Asset Management to join the U.S. West Digital Consulting team. This position will support the management, analysis, quality control, visualization, and delivery of data for large facility condition assessment, asset management, and capital planning programs.
The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with project managers, technical staff, field assessment teams, and technology specialists to transform large and complex datasets into reliable, structured, and actionable information. The position will support the full lifecycle of project data, from establishing data structures and project requirements through data collection, quality assurance, analysis, reporting, visualization, and final client delivery.
A key focus of this role will be improving the efficiency, consistency, and reliability of our data processes. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with large datasets, identifying data-quality issues, developing repeatable and automated processes, and translating technical data into information that can be readily understood and used by project teams and clients.
Department Description
The U.S.West Digital Consulting group consists of a diverse, multidisciplinary team of professionals working across the United States. We collaborate extensively with various departments and business lines within AECOM. A key focus area for us is providing asset advisory services, which assist organizations in formulating effective capital and operations and maintenance (O&M) strategies. These strategies are crucial for managing the maintenance, repair, and replacement of assets and infrastructure to meet organizational objectives.
We emphasize the importance of clients having access to critical asset data to facilitate informed decision-making. This data enables accurate, credible, and defensible investment decisions by predicting costs, timelines, impacts, and alternative options for identified needs. Our condition assessment process offers a comprehensive analysis of buildings and their systems, providing clients with a detailed understanding of their facilities and infrastructure.
Our integrated assessment teams collect and analyze facility, asset, condition, cost, lifecycle, and other data using digital tools. The resulting information supports capital planning, data visualization, reporting, and integration with client enterprise systems. By leveraging this data and analysis, clients can better align long-term capital projects with strategic priorities and make proactive, data-driven investment decisions.
