Job Details:
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work
environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
These positions could work in any department of the Material Handling Loadout or Freezer facility.
Job consists of the following duties:
Must be willing/able to work A-SHIFT. (Variable hours)
Receive product and transfer from conveyor to pallets.
Stack product onto pallets to be manifested into Freezer Inventory System.
Consolidate partial stacked product.
Operate Inverters, manually pull spacers from frozen product, Operate machine wrappers.
Operate mules to load product onto trailers to be shipped.
Sticker product to be shipped on exports.
Maintain good housekeeping practices. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling,
and reaching are required in all areas. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends upon
area).
Must be willing and able to push, pull repeatedly, and carry/ lift up to 100 pounds.
Must be willing and able to work in extreme cold, dry environment, use hands and arms above shoulder
level and stand 8-10 hours a day.
These positions also may involve the use of heavy equipment.
Days off may vary (Monday thru Saturday). Position requires some weekend work.
Must be willing/able to work safely in a fast-paced environment wearing all safety equipment required.
Must be willing/able to cross train in different areas; as well as any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
