Intel's Performance Marketing Lab (PML) develops the performance proof points, competitive insights, technical narratives, benchmarking capabilities, and enabling infrastructure that showcase the value of Intel client platforms to customers, partners, press, and internal stakeholders. As a Technical Marketing and Systems Technician, you will combine technical expertise, systems administration, data analysis, and communication skills to analyze platform performance, support lab infrastructure, and help communicate the value of Intel technologies through data-driven insights and technical content.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product planning, validation, sales, and marketing teams to evaluate Intel platforms, analyze workload performance, develop competitive insights, and create technical content that supports product launches and customer engagements. You will help deploy, maintain, and improve benchmarking infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments, support lab automation, data collection, and performance analytics systems, and ensure reliable operation of the hardware, software, networking, and server resources used throughout the lab.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across performance benchmarking, AI evaluation, lab infrastructure, automation, systems administration, and technical marketing, helping drive both the generation and communication of Intel's performance insights. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and can effectively translate data into compelling insights while contributing to the systems and infrastructure that power Intel's performance analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems and Infrastructure
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux client and server systems.
• Configure, characterize, and maintain desktop, mobile, workstation, handheld, and server platforms used for performance analysis and product evaluation.
• Support benchmarking infrastructure, automation frameworks, storage systems, and local lab services.
• Maintain operating system images, software deployment processes, and test environment configurations.
• Assist with network administration and troubleshooting across lab equipment, servers, and client systems.
• Support data collection pipelines, dashboard infrastructure, and benchmark result management systems.
• Support AI benchmarking infrastructure, automated workload execution systems, agentic workflow evaluation environments, and performance analytics platforms.
• Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and workflow improvements across lab operations.
Technical Marketing and Performance Analysis
• Develop technical proof points, benchmark studies, customer presentations, competitive analyses, and performance reports.
• Analyze benchmark data and translate complex engineering findings into clear, data-driven narratives for customers, executives, and product teams.
• Support Intel product launches through workload characterization, performance validation, competitive analysis, and technical communications.
• Develop and maintain benchmark suites, workload automation, AI evaluation workflows, and performance analysis methodologies across client, workstation, gaming, handheld, and AI-focused platforms.
• Partner with engineering, validation, product planning, and marketing teams to ensure performance claims are accurate, repeatable, and aligned with product strategy.

This role offers a unique combination of engineering, systems administration, data analytics, competitive assessment, AI benchmarking, and technical storytelling, providing broad exposure across both technical and business functions within Intel. We invite you to bring your expertise, curiosity, and passion for technology as we help shape the future of client computing and AI performance evaluation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following behavioral traits:

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated self-initiative and ability to learn new technologies independently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively across engineering, product planning, validation, marketing, and cross-functional teams.
